For example, if you have many friends, chances are that at least some of your friends have children. If you are home schooling your children simply because you want to keep them safe, do not keep them so safe that they do not get home school socialization as well. If you live in the city, be sure to take them to a local park. Just let your children play for a few hours, and they will naturally begin playing and interacting with the children around them.
Or, you can sign your children up for extracurricular activities. For example, if you have a son that loves karate, and a daughter that loves dancing, that is a great opportunity for them to learn new things while not being together and have in the opportunity to make friends at the same time!
Think back to when you were a child and how much you enjoyed having friends. You want the same thing for your children, right? It is admirable of you to want to protect your children for as long as possible, but the reality is that they will have to face the world at some point.
