After all, the children are the main focus of any home school effort. The National Home Education Research Institute (NHERI) is one organization that is devoted to following and analyzing the home schooling issue. For people with strong moral and religious convictions home schooling allows a choice of a curriculum that maintains teaching that is consistent with their beliefs. If your child is a slow reader, then extend the time you give him or her. For instance, you can read the numerous blogs that home school parents have started. Home school parents pay for the curriculum and materials out of their own pocket.
